About the event
We're thrilled to announce that we will be auditioning for roles in both Macbeth and Much Ado About Nothing the first week of February 2026.
For your audition with the County Shakespeare Company please prepare one monologue from the four below. Choose the piece that resonates with you best. Memorization is not necessary but being emotionally connected to the words is! Have fun!
Also before the auditions, we will be hosting a workshop in January 'Decoding Shakespeare' where we will give techniques and tips on how to approach and work the monologues to help you prepare for the auditions. So don't forget to sign up for that too on the events page.
